Surface Aerator

The DB new inverted umbrella surface aerator is a vertical-axis low-speed surface aeration device, primarily consisting of a motor, reducer, insert compensating coupling, transmission device, and impeller. The motor and
reducer drive the impeller to rotate, which in turn lifts the bottom sewage and sludge along a conical spiral path. As the water rises, it carries surrounding water from the edge of the impeller, creating a water leap that entrains a large amount of air for oxygenation. The oxygen-depleted water at the bottom of the tank is lifted upward to renew itself, promoting vertical circulation. Additionally, the thrust and lifting action of the rotating impeller push the water in the oxidation ditch forward in a horizontal direction with a water velocity greater than 0.3m/s, for a spiral flow pattern. This keeps the activated sludge in a suspended state, ensuring efficient wastewater treatment. This equipment is mainly used in the oxidation ditch process for treating urban domestic sewage and industrial wastewater. The new generation of inverted umbrella aeration equipment features multiple innovative designs and patented technologies. It offers more comprehensive and significant functions, including oxygenation aeration, push flow stirring, and upgrading, with more reasonable power configurations and higher power efficiency.
