Product Description

Product Description

The CSQ Series Pattern Cutting Submersible Sewage Pumps are engineered to handle wastewater containing solids, fibers, and other debris with exceptional reliability and efficiency. Designed for submersible operation, these pumps feature a unique cutting mechanism—integrated carbide alloy blades that shred large solids into smaller particles, preventing clogging and ensuring smooth passage through the pump casing. The hydraulic design combines a wide-flow impeller with a reinforced volute, capable of handling solids up to 50mm in diameter and fibers up to 100mm in length.

Constructed with corrosion-resistant materials such as cast iron, stainless steel, or duplex steel, the CSQ Series is suitable for both clean and harsh wastewater environments, including sewage treatment plants, industrial sumps, and stormwater drainage systems. The pumps are equipped with a hermetically sealed motor chamber to prevent water ingress, along with thermal overload protection and oil-filled mechanical seals for long-term submersible operation. Available in single-phase and three-phase configurations, these pumps offer versatile solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial applications.

Features

Cutting-Edge Technology: The dual-channel impeller with integrated cutting blades shreds rags, plastics, and other fibrous materials, reducing the risk of blockages by up to 80% compared to non-cutting pumps.

High Solids Handling: Capable of passing solid particles up to 50mm (depending on model) and handling liquids with up to 8% solid content by volume, making them ideal for heavily contaminated wastewater.

Energy-Efficient Hydraulics: The optimized impeller and volute design minimize friction losses, achieving up to IE3 motor efficiency and reducing energy costs by 20% compared to standard sewage pumps.

Rugged Construction: Double mechanical seals (silicon carbide or tungsten carbide) and a reinforced cast iron casing ensure durability in abrasive or corrosive environments, with a service life of over 10,000 hours under normal conditions.

Smart Protection System: Built-in sensors monitor motor temperature and oil level, triggering automatic shutdown to prevent damage from dry running or overheating, enhancing operational safety.

Application

The CSQ Series is widely used in wastewater management scenarios:

Municipal Sewage Systems: Pumping raw sewage from lift stations, treatment plants, or residential areas, efficiently handling wipes, diapers, and other problematic solids.

Industrial Wastewater: Processing effluents from food factories, paper mills, and chemical plants, where high solids and fibrous materials require reliable cutting and conveying.

Construction Sites: Dewatering excavations, tunnels, or basements, managing slurry and debris-laden water to maintain safe working conditions.

Marine & Aquaculture: Pumping bilge water, fish farm wastewater, or seawater in coastal applications, with corrosion-resistant materials suitable for saltwater environments.

Commercial Buildings: Installing in basement sump pits, grease traps, or drainage systems to handle high-volume wastewater with minimal maintenance.

Faq

Q: How often do the cutting blades need to be replaced?

A: Blade lifespan depends on the severity of the application. In typical sewage applications, blades last 2-3 years; in highly abrasive environments, regular inspections (every 6 months) are recommended, and replaceable blade kits are available.

Q: Can the pump operate continuously in dry conditions?

A: No, the pump is designed for submersible use and should not run dry. The built-in dry-run protection will shut down the motor to prevent damage, but prolonged dry operation should be avoided.

Q: What is the maximum immersion depth for the CSQ Series?

A: Standard models are rated for immersion up to 10 meters. For deeper applications (up to 30 meters), custom-designed pumps with reinforced seals and pressure-resistant casings are available.

Q: Are there explosion-proof versions for hazardous environments?

A: Yes, we offer ATEX-certified explosion-proof models suitable for zones 1/21 and 2/22, equipped with flameproof motors and static grounding systems for safe operation in explosive atmospheres.
