Product Description
The ZCGN sludge scraper is installed in circular sedimentation tanks. The center drive mechanism rotates the scraper blades attached to the vertical shaft at the tank’s center. As the blades move along the tank bottom, they push the settled sludge toward the central sludge collection pit. The sludge is then discharged through a central outlet for further processing, while floating scum can be removed with optional skimming equipment.
Center Drive Mechanism: A motor and gearbox assembly at the tank center ensures stable and efficient operation.
Vertical Shaft Design: A robust, corrosion-resistant vertical shaft drives the scraper blades.
Scraper Blades: Designed for efficient sludge collection and transport toward the tank center.
Scum Skimmer (Optional): Removes floating debris and scum to maintain water surface cleanliness.
Durable Materials: Built with stainless steel, carbon steel with anti-corrosion coatings, or fiberglass for long-term performance in harsh environments.
Automated Control System: Optional automation for start/stop functions and operational monitoring.
Municipal Wastewater Treatment: Used in circular sedimentation tanks for primary and secondary sludge removal.
Industrial Effluent Treatment: Handles sludge removal in industries such as petrochemical, steel, and food processing.
Water Treatment Plants: Suitable for clarifiers in water purification systems.
Other Sedimentation Processes: Applicable in various systems requiring efficient sludge handling.
Efficient Sludge Removal: Effectively collects and transports settled sludge to the central outlet.
Compact Design: Center-driven structure minimizes space requirements and ensures efficient use of the tank.
Low Maintenance: Simple mechanical design reduces operational and maintenance costs.
Customizable Options: Adaptable to various tank sizes and configurations.
Energy Efficiency: Low power consumption during continuous operation.
Durable and Reliable: Designed with high-quality materials for extended service life and resistance to wear.
Proper Installation: Ensure the vertical shaft is correctly aligned and the drive mechanism is securely mounted.
Routine Inspections: Regularly check the scraper blades, drive system, and vertical shaft for wear or damage.
Prevent Blockages: Keep the central sludge outlet and optional scum skimmer clear of obstructions.
Lubrication: Maintain lubrication of the drive components to ensure smooth operation.
Safety Measures: Follow operational safety protocols, especially during maintenance and cleaning activities.
